About the role

MyVisa® Immigration Lawyers is seeking a Solicitor to join our  team in Sydney, NSW. In this full-time role, you will be part of a dynamic and collaborative legal practice focused on providing exceptional immigration law services to our diverse client base.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting senior solicitors with the preparation and lodgement of a variety of visa applications, including skilled, family, and business visas
• Conducting detailed client consultations to understand their unique circumstances and immigration needs
• Researching complex immigration law issues and providing well-reasoned legal advice to clients
• Drafting and reviewing immigration-related legal documents, correspondence, and submissions
• Maintaining detailed client records and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations
• Actively participating in the firm's ongoing professional development and training programs

What we're looking for

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD) degree, ideally with admission to practice as a solicitor in Australia
• 1-3 years of experience though training is provided
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and apply complex legislation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain legal concepts clearly to clients
• A demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional client service and attention to detail
• Proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
